Welcome to my Home Page, SUNDARAM.

Sundaram in Sanskrit means beautiful and I hope you will find this page as beautiful as the word is meant to describe.

I am proud to be an Indian, a Hindu and a Brahmin (Vaishnavite). I have had the privilege of visiting Tirumala many times seeking Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara. True to the citation that the Lord here really offers a devotee punar darsana prapti ( புனர் தர்சன ப்ராப்தி ) (meaning repeated darshans). I have also had the pleasure of visiting many of the 108 Tirupathis that have been sung by various Azhwars and I am considering it my privilege to devote a part of this home page to my experience with these temples. Initially, I have started with two of the famous Sri Vaishnavite Divya Desams - Srirangam (also called as Boologa Vaikundam) and Tiruvenkadam. It is my desire that I keep updating this page by adding one or two temples every fortnight and with His blessings I hope to succeed in this effort.

I shall also offer links to various other sites that have common interests wherever possible so that the viewers can get full and proper information about the temples.

For the attention of Viewers

This site uses fonts developed by by Sri B.Viswanathan - www.azhagi.com Many thanks to him for guiding me in correct installation and usage of the Tamil fonts when I had teething problem. You may also download the free Tamil fonts developed by him by clicking the link provided.

Whatever we say or read, there definitely is some pleasure when we read poems, or pasurams, etc., in the same script with which the originals were written and I hope you too share my opinion on this. Wherever possible, I have given the exact English reproduction of the tamil words for the benefit of readers who cannot read Tamil.

While a part of me takes me to the spiritual development of mind, another part belongs very much to the material world. Viewers to this page can learn about my business activites, my interests on writing stories, my comments and articles focussing on current interests, etc.

With this brief intro, I once again welcome you all to my Home Page, Sundaram.
